Cookie Notice

Meltem uses cookies and browser storage items to keep the app secure, remember preferences, run the signed-in experience and understand how the app is used.

Strictly necessary cookies

Meltem uses Supabase authentication cookies to keep signed-in users connected to the correct account and school. These cookies are required for login, access control and security.

The app also uses a locale cookie named MELTEM_LOCALE to remember the user's preferred interface language before and after login.

Preference storage

The marketing site can store a cookie notice acknowledgement in the browser so the notice does not appear on every page view.

This preference is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Analytics and session recording

Meltem uses PostHog, a product-analytics tool hosted in the European Union, to understand how the app is used and to improve it. PostHog uses cookies and browser-storage items to recognise repeat sessions and to measure page views and feature usage.

PostHog also records app sessions — a replay of page views, clicks, navigation and form interactions — to help diagnose problems and improve usability. Password fields are masked. These recordings are stored by PostHog in the European Union, are not used for advertising and are not sold to third parties.

Meltem does not set third-party advertising cookies. You can opt out of analytics and session recording by blocking cookies for this site in your browser, by using your browser's privacy controls, or by contacting Meltem to request that your sessions are not recorded. A built-in consent control is being introduced.

Managing cookies

Users can clear or block cookies through their browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent login, dashboard access, language preferences or account security features from working correctly.
